Gwen Sinclair is the Chair of the Government Documents & Maps Department at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Library in Honolulu, where she has been a librarian for 21 years. She received both a master’s degree in Library and Information Science and an MA in Geography from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Her diverse interests are reflected in her publications and conference presentations, which have covered the Documents Expediting Project, World War II surplus disposal, the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration, presidential executive orders and proclamations, private laws, government secrecy, and aerial photography.  She is an adjunct instructor in the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Library and Information Science Program.

Contributors

Ellen-Rae Cachola, Ph.D. is the Evening Supervisor and Archives Manager and the University of Hawaiʻi School of Law Library. She also lectures for the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Ellen-Rae is a 2nd generation Ilocana born on the island of Maui. Her research interests include rethinking Filipin@/x history in Hawaiʻi according to Hawaiian Sovereignty historiography.

Ashley Forester is a current graduate student at the Library and Information Science Program at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Ricky Mashita is a student in the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Library and Information Science Program. 

Christian Moratin is a student in the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Library and Information Science Program.

Phuong Nguyen is a current graduate student at the Library and Information Science Program at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. 

Catherine Pérez is an MLIS candidate at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and serves as Acquisitions Support in the Technical Services Department at the University of Hawaiʻi Law Library.

Molly Rowe is a Master of Library and Information Science student at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She graduated in 2017 from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Art in history in 2017. She currently resides in O‘ahu, Hawai‘i with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. 

Delphi Thomas is a student in the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Library and Information Science Program.
